Tested with real dimmers. No flicker, no buzz, smooth from 100% down to 5%.
Every LED filament bulb on Alibaba claims to be "dimmable." But when you actually install them with a wall dimmer, half of them flicker, buzz, drop out below 20%, or simply won't dim at all. This is the #1 complaint in Amazon reviews for LED filament bulbs — and the #1 reason installers and electricians refuse to specify them for projects.
The issue is almost always the LED driver — the tiny circuit board inside the bulb base that converts AC power to DC for the filaments. Cheap drivers use minimal components that can't handle the chopped waveform from a triac dimmer. The result: audible buzzing, visible flickering, and premature filament failure.
ANOVEXA filament bulbs use a purpose-designed dimmable driver built with:
| Lutron Diva (DVCL-153P) | Compatible — smooth 100%–5%, no flicker |
| Lutron Maestro (MACL-153M) | Compatible — adaptive dimming works correctly |
| Lutron Caseta Wireless | Compatible — tested with PD-6WCL |
| Leviton Decora Smart | Compatible — smooth performance |
| Leviton Trimatron (rotary) | Compatible — works across full rotation |
| European trailing-edge (Varilight, etc.) | Compatible — tested with common EU dimmer modules |
| Cheap no-name rotary dimmers | Partial — may buzz below 15%. We recommend name-brand dimmers. |
Every bulb series we produce is dimmable by default. Color temperature range: 1800K to 6500K across all shapes — tell us your market preference and we'll confirm the exact CCT available for your spec.
Custom CCTs from 1800K to 6500K are available on request. If your project requires a specific wattage/CCT combination not listed above, contact us for OEM.
Specify your bulb type, wattage, and target market — we'll include a dimmer compatibility summary with your quote.
